Half Dome Yosemite Valley in Fall

This image of Half Dome frosted in snow as it rises above Yosemite Valley is one of my favorite images that I've shot in Yosemite National Park. Autumn in California is always a beautiful season, but the trees in fall in Yosemite Valley make for especially scenic photography. One of the reasons I like this image so much is the light on the valley floor at Cooks Meadow and the elm tree stand in great contrast to the dark storm clouds that are in the sky above Half Dome.
