Point Reyes: Intimate Details and Personal Vision 3-Day Photo Workshop

Friday – Sunday; August 19-21, 2016

One of my absolutely most-favorite new photo workshops! This photography class turns our eyes toward the smaller, more intimate details of the world around us. This doesn’t necessarily mean tiny, close-up macro photos. Instead we will explore how to use our vision to recognize and isolate important aspects of scenes and locations through both field and classroom presentations. The workshop will include a group photo review and critique. Accommodations at the Historic Lifeboat Station are included. Click here to register for the 3-day Point Reyes Intimate & Personal Visions Photo Workshop.

Panoramic Point Reyes 1-Day Photo Workshop

Saturday; September 24, 2016 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Stretch the limits of your vision in one of my always popular photo workshops! Explore Point Reyes from a very specific photographic perspective. We’ll spend the day learning about the techniques for finding and creating compelling panoramic images with a distinctive Point Reyes flavor. Emphasis will be split between in-field compositional choices using a variety of subjects, both natural and man-made, and classroom discussion of workflow and post-production techniques. The day will start with a classroom presentation, followed by spending the remainder of the day in the field concentrating on finding great panoramic subjects to photograph. We’ll continue to shoot through sunset into the early evening light. Click here to register for the 1-day Panoramic Point Reyes Photo Workshop.
