WHO IS USING "YOUR " PHOTO?
RM or RF in the commercial ad world.... We know that you want your investment in photography to make your company identity or advertising campaign unique, eye-catching, and something that helps build your customer loyalty and brand awareness.
With our Rights Managed Images, we can know who is using,
or has used an image. And if needed, we can also make sure the "other
guy" can't use the same picture while you're using it.
By choosing our stand-out RM photography for your commercial project, our images will reach out and grab the viewers attention much better than the average RF picture. And afterall, if your message isn't standing out, it's really just lost in a crowd. Just something to think about.... |
STOCK PHOTO PRICE REQUEST FORM
We are proud to offer the professional publishing and advertising communities thousands of high quality Rights Managed (RM) images for use as stock photography. We do not currently offer any of our images as Royalty Free (RF) photography. Pricing:Many one-time uses of Rights Managed images can be priced competitively to Royalty Free. To get a price quote on using our images, click on the link to the Stock Photo Price Request Form . What are the benefits of using RM vs RF? RM Images are best suited for the clients who value their hard earned investments in building a unique look, brand awareness, or corporate identity. Our ability to track sales and uses, and to offer the exclusive use of any of our photos can help to protect your investment by assuring that the same or similar image won't also be used by a direct competitor . Many clients appreciate the time and efforts we take to track and monitor the sales of our images, and in knowing that a photo selected from our files does not appear on hundreds or thousands of RF Discs or web sites. What are the risks of using RF vs RM images? Imagine the lost cost in dollars and consumer awareness that would occur if your creative team spent hours developing a targeted campaign, only to see your competitor come out with a similar ad using the same photo. Think it doesn't happen? Take a classic example of Dell and Gateway who both used an image later found to be from a RF Disc. Both companies developed targeted ads that appeared at the same time using the same set of RF photos. The goof caused both companies to pull the ad after the flub was spread around on several internet news and advertising blogs: The images on this page are presented for the basis of demonstrating a personal opinion, commentary, and example for public review or critism of factors that are involved with licensing photos under certain types of sales models. |

And what about the competing DSL providers w/ the same photo on
their web site home page? NEWSFLASH!!! ColorVision Package gal also likes, um.... 'large' men.
Is she smiling because she's happy with the way her monitor has been
profiled, or is there another reason...?
Really now, doesn't every company secretly hope to have their packaging photography investment connected to Male Enhancement products? or how about... Eew, YUCK! Your spokesmodel has problems...uh..."down there". And if you think these sorts of incidents don't get noticed, here's one for the guys, thanks to an article in the Wall Street Journal. (free registration required to access the WSJ article) He's the face of your Fortune 500 Insurance Company, but what he's really thinking about is a 'bigger problem' closer to home!! (I think a Moment of Silence is in order....) Computer companies ASUS and MSI are both caught using the same photo to promote their respective computers. To add insult to injury, the computer the kid was originally shown modeling with was an Apple. I have to wonder how the executive management feels about their cost cutting now... |
