I just got my email notice from Adobe Systems that Adobe Stock Photos will be discontinued on April 1st, 2008. Is this an April Fool’s joke? I don’t think so. Frankly, when I am doing photo research for clients, I’ve never used, or frankly, even thought of using Adobe Stock Photos. I’ll leave it to you to ponder the deeper meanings of Life as we bid a sad farewell. Has anyone checked the heartbeat of Adobe Photographer’s Directory lately? I can’t recall ever hearing about anyone ever getting a job through that Adobe venture.
