My web host finally upgraded my server to use php version 5. I’m no techie, but this allows me to use a new WordPress Plug-in that will let me put images, or even embed an entire gallery into a post on my weblog. This is a test of that new feature. The images are from my new searchable archive gallery collection of images from the area where I live. You can see the entire gallery as a full screen slide show by clicking on the expanding arrows in the lower right corner. You can also see all the images in the gallery by clicking on the thumbnail icon (9 little squares). Clicking on any of the images will take you directly to that image within my archive site.

The slide show worked great! Loved your images 🙂 Next time you’re in the mood to shoot redwoods, head to Henry Cowell State Park in Felton (near Santa Cruz) and see what you can do with the albino redwood. With your equipment and abundant talent, I’ll bet you can do wonders with it. It would definitely be an unusual image. The forest is dark, so lighting is the tricky part. (If you want an idea of what it looks like, I posted a pic of the needles from one of the albino redwoods on my fb fan page last week.)
Gary:
Great image. Can you share which WordPress plug-in you are referring to?

Gary, the East Bay looks absolutely spectacular from your images, as nice as any classic nature photography destination. Congratulations on managing to find and show its beauty so well !
