Picture: Merced River and El Capitan seen from the Gates of the Valley in Winter, Yosemite National Park, California
Today marks the turn of another year. For me, it’s twice in the last three years where I’ve spent the week between Christmas and New Years sick as a dog. C’est la Vie. But the down time also brings with it an added chance for reflection as we move into the New Year. Uncertainty ahead? Certainly. Change ahead? Most definitely. … which reminds me… I recently read a great article on Editorial Photographers web site written last Fall by photographer Doug Menuez that I’d like to pass along called, “On Chaos, Fear, Survival, and Luck; Longevity is the Answer“.
As for the image above, you can see this as part of a new Special Print Collection of Yosemite National Park photos that can be seen on my web site.
My best wishes to everyone for a healthy, and Happy New Year.
Happy New Year to you and your family Gary. Hope you are well soon!
Happy New Years Gary!
Happy New Year Gary! Hope you are feeling better,
Ron
Thanks for the link to the Doug Menuez article, also being sick this past week I really needed something to get me going. Happy New Year!
I see we get bit by the same bug – I was sick this year also, and seem to remember it happening quite a few years at this time. Maybe too much being around other people! 🙂
Anyway, thanks for the article link and Happy New Year.
