During autumn, the leaves on oak trees in Yosemite Valley turn a wonderful golden color in the middle to later part of fall, adding a beautiful splash of color to this part of Yosemite National Park. In this shot I used a telephoto lens to compress the background and depth of field to highlight the shape of the trees, and the golden color of the oak leaves on this group of oak trees, similar to ones that can be found throughout the meadows and forests of Yosemite Valley.
