Winter Sunrise from Tunnel View Yosemite Valley

One of my earliest favorite photos from Yosemite National Park is this winter sunrise seen from the iconic Tunnel View location overlooking Yosemite Valley. On this particular morning a winter storm had just passed through California's Sierra Nevada. As the sun rose over the mountains to the east, Yosemite Valley filled with fog.
This older shot was taken using a professional transparency film, which had a much narrower exposure latitude compared to today's high-tech digital cameras. Nonetheless, it remains one of my favorite shots taken from Tunnel View.
