Photographer’s Forum Magazine is currently having it’s Spring Photo Contest, and it’s only open to Amateur Photographers. I mention this because I’d actually was a finalist winner in one of their Spring photo contests years ago. Current deadline is April 20, 2009 for the early bird entries, and May 11, 2009 for the final entry deadline. Note: This isn’t a contest where winning will send you halfway around the globe to an exotic local, but for many amateurs, it can give one of those oft-sought chances of a publishing credit, not to mention the magazine is seen by a lot of photographers, as well as art-buyers who cruise the pages looking for inspiration and new talent.
