NANPA without me

I hate making tough or difficult phone calls. I know from personal experience in the past, and again this morning. Due to certain scheduling circumstances beyond my control, I’ve had to cancel my participation, and highly anticipated trip to Nanpa’s 2009 Annual Conference in Albuquerque, NM. In addition to missing all the fun at the conference, I’m also bummed that I’ll be missing out on a few opportunities that I’d planned to get photographically, including The Grand Canyon in Winter, and visits to Meteor Crater, Rowell, & White Sands. For me, this is also a double hit, as last fall I opted for taking a pass on a trip to Zion’s famous Subway Hike with a friend due to a project I was working on, figuring I’d make up for that with a few weeks of fun in February.

Woof.

That sucks Gary. My friend was telling me yesterday how great White Sands is. I’ve been to the Meteor Crater. I woudln’t have too high of hopes for that place. Their museum might be your cup of tea though since it is space related.

  • Like Richard said, that sucks. I was hoping to finally meet you at the NANPA Summit. Maybe some other time?
