Storm clouds over an old barn, Sherman Island, California
Over the course of the last week, we’ve had a number of weak storm systems move through our area, and I’ve been unable to photograph any of them. But one of the places I love to go cloud watching during storms is about 25 minutes away on Sherman Island, at the far side of the Antioch Bridge, at the entrance to the California Delta. The island is probably the westernmost spot where the great central valley opens up.
