Great images Gary! If I had to pick a favourite it would be “Morning Light on the Eastern Sierra” though that was a tough decision. 🙂
Gorgeous images Gary! Some epic light on display there.
Happy holidays and all the best in 2014!
Wonderful set of images Gary. It looks like 2013 was a great year for you photographically. I hope the D800 holds up for you in the coming year.
Great collection of images, Gary! I am especially blown away by the image of the night sky above Glen Canyon. So, so cool. Wishing you the sweetest of light for all of 2014!
Another great year of images Gary. “Absolutely beautiful light” I think is an observation in all of them. I particularly like the “Alone with the stars” and “Sunrise light..at Point Reyes.” That Death Valley shot could have been awesome if all those people didn’t get in the way. Photographers can be rude sometimes. 😉
Hi Gary,
They are all beautiful, but my very favorite is Rolling hills of the Palouse region at sunset, Washington State.
Regarding the comment about all of those people in the Death Valley shot, I think that is exactly what made the shot so great.
Jerry
Tough call; they’re all winners. But I’ll go with the Palouse. I’ve always found it fascinating and shots of it are compelling. This is one of them. Happy Holidays!
This is a wonderful variety of images, Gary–you had another splendid year! It’s hard for me to pick a favorite, but I’d say it’s a tie between the Aguereberry Point image, and the sunset on the buttes in Glen Canyon. Both of those have a really wonderful feel to them…
Best wishes for a happy and healthy 2014!
Very nice Gary, great collection of photographs. Like the Sierra pano in particular… Have as great light in 2014 as you had in this year!
Strikes me what a privilege it is to enjoy and witness the beauty we have all around us. And how lucky we are to be able to share it.
Excellent work Gary. I really like the Alone with the Stars image.
Looks like you had a year full of diverse terrain, much of it outside California. Seems like your work is growing in breadth too. I know the term is overused, but it’s nice to see how some of these subjects are treated by a “master.” I like your hard to get sunrise on Drakes Beach, the Palouse and Buckskin Gulch the best.
Really nice collection Gary! I love the Eastern Sierra and the sunlight at Mount Rainier NP. Enjoy the holidays and have a wonderful new year.
Nice work, Gary. I especially like the Glen Canyon images. Have a wonderful new year!

Great selection Gary, looks like you had a very productive year. My favorite is, Sunrise light and morning mist through trees in forest, Mount Rainier National Park, Washington. Happy New year to you and your family!
Hi Gary,
Great images! My favorite is the rolling hills. Very calming. Makes me want to sip a cup of tea and take in the view.
Hope 2014 is a productive year for you!
Cheers,
Tony
Phenomenal set of images for a single year!
