I consider this one of my favorite bird photos. I’m not much of an avian shooter, but I do appreciate those that are different from the ‘standard’. I always love the fog, and I often say it is because it shrinks your world. Everything beomes very soft, quiet, and intimate. This pair of pelicans sitting in the mist just seem to be taking it all in quiet stride.
