This shot was taken along the Merced River near the east end of Yosemite Valley, in the very heart of Yosemite National Park. Sometimes, even when in the midst of a huge and beautiful landscape like Yosemite Valley, simple little details can still catch your attention, as it did with this detail of smooth cobblestone rocks polished and rounded by years of the clear cool water from the Merced River flowing over them.
