Sitting at the eastern end of Yosemite Valley, the sheer cliff that makes up the iconic glacially-fractured face of Half Dome is perfectly positioned to catch the last warm colored light of sunset. So how big is Half Dome? This telephoto shot was taken from the far western edge of Yosemite Valley, with Half Dome sitting well over ten miles away.
