Picture: Oak trees and sunbeams through morning fog at sunrise, in the hills above Carmel Valley, Monterey County, California
I thought it would be nice to post a few more of my favorite images from the recent new image galleries that I’ve uploaded onto my web site. This picture was one of my favorites from the Carmel Valley Photos. This was taken right in the transition zone between an area that was clear, and a lower elevation marine layer of fog. This was actually taken a bit later on the same morning as the image featured in my Sneak Peek for this gallery. The earlier photo really shows off how the layer of coastal fog just blankets itself along the slopes of the hills.
See all of my images from this area in the Carmel Valley & Salinas Valley Images web gallery. If you’d also like, you can check out some of the region’s coastal vistas in my Carmel and Big Sur Coast web gallery.
