During every other week of summer, our city offers a free concert in the park. It’s a good place for a Sunday evening picnic, let the kids run around, dance, and hear some music. Most of the time, these are just local cover bands. But this weekend was refreshingly different; a local female-led rock band, Finding Stella, playing original music. For those of you that like Heart, you’ll probably like this band. Aside from their original material, they did play several cover songs exceptionally well, including songs from AC/DC and Lenny Kravitz. The best thing I could say about any band; “I bought their CD on the spot.”
