What do you do when you have two busted knees, chronic back pain, and an injured hip ligament causing severe aggrivation to the femoral nerve? Well duh, you slap on a 50 lb. pack + camera gear and go backpacking! :) And that’s just what I did; a mere 9.35 miles RT +/- 4000 feet of elevation change. Pretty mild by general backpacking standards, but in my current state, it was a worthy effort given all my self doubts and concerns prior to departure.
I must also confess to not telling the full truth in my last post; I didn’t REALLY throw a dart at my computer screen. But I was doing some image research on my previous trips to this area, the last being about 10 – 12 years ago. But now you know the real reason I posted that other photo.
Gosh, your body must be like mine :-), and that is EXACTLY what I would do. For now, I am in a foot cast but come August, I’m gonna get a going!
Wow Gary, you must have lived a really crazy life before keywording was invented. I hope my knees work in 20 years.
