MicroMicro Everywhere

I’ve argued against RF, and now microsites for awhile. I admit it, I don’t like either. I don’t deny there is a market for them, as well as a need. But if I had to pick one of those two sales models to sell my photos, I’d pick the “traditional” RF sites. I always enjoy a good bit of discourse on the subject, like my exchange with Robet on Photo.net. I just can’t escape from the feeling in my gut that says, “Hey, what I do has value”. Whenever I log onto a Microsite, my gut hears a chorus of photographers saying “Hey, what I do has No Value.” It’s hard to believe that the race to the bottom has spiraled downwards so fast, that the Traditional RF agencies with their $299.00 license fees now seem like “The good guys” by comparison.
