In following with my recently posted Favorite Landscape Photos of 2017 — images I shot using my ‘Real’ cameras — I’d like to share this collection of My favorite cellphone photos of 2017. Yes, I admit, I don’t really consider my cellphone a real professional camera. That probably explains why I have two distinct Instagram pages; one for my personal/cellphone photos, and my professional business @enlightenedimages_IG page for my ‘real’ work. Still, I love many of the images I’ve taken with my cellphone, and it does give backing proof to the saying, “The best camera is the one you have with you.” FWIW – These were all shot with my Samsung Galaxy S6.
I’d love to know which one(s) of these photos you like if you’d care to leave a comment in the comment section below.

Besties is pretty irresistible! I also like Somewhere over Arizona and Owens River.
An interesting site Carrizo Plain N.M, Ca. I use to drive from southern New Mexico to northern New Mexico on a regular basis, I would drive through Carrizozo, New Mexico each direction traveled. Just thinking out loud . . . .
“Felidae” is my winner. 🙂
These photos are great and so are the titles =)
I think #05 is my favorite, Owens River. I love #09 Besties and #13 Big Island Sunset.
I always enjoy your wonderful photos Gary, thanks for sharing them.
Hi Gary, I’d have to say “Besties” has a certain yingy yangness to it that puts it at the top of my list!
