Amazing year, Gary! Great stuff.
BTW, Photo #4 is probably my favorite.
Very nice Gary – while I normally prefer landscape shots, my first pick above is #7 ” Light shines from the Point Sur Lightstation”
Beautiful images Gary! You had an awesome year! My fave is #14, you know how much I love autumn! Best wishes for a wonderful 2015! 🙂
“Photographers shooting the sunset” is fabulous. It captures the thrill of being there as a transient moment comes together. I feel that energy vicariously in the excitement of the photographers being photographed and in the photograph itself with the sun peaking through the arm so perfectly. It doubles down on the thrill. It supports and is supported by your other photographs from 2014. There are many fleeting moments: a rainbow, an unusual cloud formation, the sun just before it sets, a ripple in the water or crashing waves. Thanks for sharing them Gary and all the best in the new year.
Gary, you have had a highly productive year. Hard to pick favorites here, but I will anyway. I like #15, the BW View Over Mono Lake best, #6 Sunrise, Drakes Beach second best and many others as well. Your framing of #4 I love because it typifies the Eastern Sierra with wide open barren spaces and beautiful mountains and sky beyond. The rocky road is just as beautiful to me as the sky, having been on so many of those types of roads that lead to the best places. I’ve been looking for something of the green hills of California, when they are green. I’ll have to check out that Briones Park. Very nice image.
Wonderful photographs Gary! I have to join the crowd and say that #4 is my favourite as well.
Great collection Gary – love the variety of mood and color! (#4 and #11 are my favorites).
Congrats on another stellar year and wishing you all the best in 2015.
Cheers,
Russ

All gorgeous images Gary, what a wonderful year for you my friend! I’m going with 4 and 5, but it’s very hard to pick.
I wish you a very happy New Year, all the best in 2015!
Fall colors near Conway Summit is my definite favorite here. I love the Eastern Sierra — so much different terrain and interesting light.
It was a great year Gary. Each and every photos award category worthy. Thanks for sharing them with us.
Happy New Year, Larry
What stunning imagery. My favorites #3 #5 #8
Happy New Year!
Beautiful collection of images Gary! I think my favorite is from the Bandon image with the rainbow! I’ve yet to get a rainbow on the beach shot! All the best to you for the new year!
Awesome work this year Gary – #4 is my favorite of the bunch. Best of luck in 2015 and I hope we cross paths someday!
Ben
Very fine and large collection of great images Gary. My absolute favorite is #5, followed by #14 and #12. Have a great new year of 2015!
You certainly have a great eye for great light Gary. It is a common element throughout. Sad that web display can’t do those panos justice. Hope you have a great 2015.
Wonderful collection, Gary! Love to see Point Reyes as such a prominent part of your favorites for the year. Though that wonderful spring green in Briones is probably my favorite of the bunch. All the best for an excellent 2015!
Very nice and varied collection of images. I think my faves are the lupine abstract and the detail of rocks at Drakes Beach. Best wishes for continued success in 2015!
Gary, your photographs are simply amazing, I can smell the air, and feel the mist of the sea, WOW!!! Thank you for sharing your favorites, I so enjoyed every one of them.
Beautiful collection Gary! Bandon is one of my favourite places so I have to choose the rainbow over Bandon as my favourite. Love the gull on the top of the rock!
Great collection as usual, Gary. I would say #4 is my favorite as well. Hope you have a great new year!
Gary, all your photographs are outstanding. I am biased toward all the Point Reyes shots because I can relate to them. I love the sun burst through the crook of the arm in photo #3 and happy you have it toward the top of your choices. The Eastern Sierra photos are beautiful. Oh, what the heck, they are all great!
