Picture: Seagulls at sunset on rocks at Natural Bridges State Park, California
I’m closing in on the end of my current book project. This image was taken last week while in Santa Cruz for a day. Back when I first visited this beach in the 1980’s, I seem to remember that the chasm between these two rocks had been spaned by a rock arch. If I recall correctly, that arch collapsed in the late ’80’s or early ’90’s. If anyone remembers this better, I’d love any clarification or correction.
You can see more of my images from Santa Cruz and the San Mateo Coast in my online web gallery
Great lines Gary. Hopefully no one was under the arch when it collapsed!
You know Gary, with a little help from Photoshop® you could put the arch back together again.

Thanks for the laugh; Now that was funny!
Richard,
my memory is so vague, I’m still trying to validate my recollection of the event happening.
Looks like you are killing it on the Cali Coast Gary!
Look forward to seeing the book when you are done,
Ron
