Participant Photos from my September 2018 3-Day Point Reyes Chimney Rock Headlands Photo Retreat photography workshop.

A couple weeks back I had another chance to spend a few days with a wonderful small group of people at my recent 3-Day Point Reyes Chimney Rock Headlands Photo Retreat workshop. I’m delighted to present a few images created by each of the participants.
During this class, we had a special — probably once in a lifetime — close encounter with a wild Great Horned owl. We were walking back from the parking lot to the Chief’s House when one of the participants stopped dead in his tracks and said, “There’s an owl!” Perched on a cypress stump sat this owl who (Whoooo) graciously allowed the six participants to photograph him/her from less than 20 feet away, showing not a hint of stress, and more so perhaps… boredom as we all managed to get off a few shots. We all walked away quietly after a few minutes with great and humble appreciation, thanking this dear owl for allowing us into its presence.
Finally, I have a couple more upcoming Photo Workshops at Point Reyes next spring that are now available for registration through the non-profit Point Reyes National Seashore Association.
So now, without further delay, please enjoy these wonderful photos from the Beaches of Point Reyes:

I hope you enjoyed these images, and if you feel like leaving a comment for the participants, I’m sure they’d love hearing from you.
Thanks so much for taking the time to look. 🙂 – Gary.
