I chose this photo because it had a nice summertime feel. You’re right, it was an overly complicated reason, and I apologize. I happened to take this image while working on my California Coast book. I’d been looking the other direction – toward the ocean – when this young girl came running by me. I turned around to see where her adult guardian(s) were, and that’s when I saw this scene with the moon rising over the golden grass field.
