One of the great things about radio astronomy is you don’t need clear skies to gather great information vital to your research. Such was the day when I showed up during a rainstorm while working on my last book, Greetings from California. I thought the low clouds and small breaks with blue sky and sunlight really added to the atmosphere of the scene.
And speaking of great information, or at least I hope you’ll think it’s great information, I was recently given the chance to do an extended interview with David Hyde, son of the late Phillip Hyde, on his Landscape Photography Blog. We spoke at some length about my past working relationship with Galen Rowell, about personal shooting styles, and much more.
The interview is broken into three parts.
I hope you’ll take the time to check them out.
If you think there’s some worthy information in there, please feel free to share the links with your photography friends.
Thanks,
Gary.
