You know it’s been a busy time when you suddenly look back and realize you’ve never even processed a few of your favorite images that you’ve taken over the last year. Such is the case with the above image that I came across while looking for new replacement images for my web site home page. It turned out that this image was taken exactly six months ago (yesterday), and I’m just now processing and showing the photo for the first time.
This isn’t an isolated case. Probably my favorite image of this year, and perhaps even of the last several years, still sits unprocessed. I’m not sure other people will like it as much as me, but every time I see it, it still just makes me say, “Wow.”
But back to being busy, so I hope you all are having a wonderful start to your holiday season.

Hopefully it’s a good busy. Great image Gary!
Stop processing anymore images until you can show us your fave. 🙂

Building on a great training background, you sure have a fine eye for nuances of light, on which stands much of the success of this image, but there are many other good points to this photograph as well, when you get into it: composition, mystery, and more…
David said it really well…this is a really nice image, Gary. I noted the nuances of light especially!
You’re great at the teasers, BTW…can’t wait to see your favorite…
