Moon over Ragged Peak, Yosemite

Ragged Peak is located several miles north of Tuolumne Meadows, and is a popular place for backpackers to visit in the Young Lakes basin of Yosemite National Park. I've likened this mountain peak as having the appearance of a broken dragon's tooth as the Sierra Nevada tries to grab at the sky. On this evening while camping at the Young Lakes, I noticed the moon hanging over Ragged Peak as the purple sky of twilight settled over the backcountry of Yosemite National Park.
