Especially for my Bay Area and Northern California friends: Are you feeling an essential desire to go out and take some photos and stretch your photographic horizons? Ok, that’s not the right phrase; I meant, “…and shrink your photographic horizons.”
If so, consider joining me in one of the very first COVID-era Photo Workshops being put on by the Point Reyes Field Institute and the Point Reyes National Seashore Association. On the weekend of July 17-19, I’ll be leading a hybrid workshop class called “Point Reyes Intimate Details and Personal Visions.” The course will combine a smaller class size and begins with a Friday evening Zoom class introduction and presentation. On Saturday, we’ll meet out at Point Reyes for an afternoon and evening of outdoor socially distant photography and instruction. (No carpooling.) on Sunday, I’ll spend 30 minutes on a Zoom call with each participant reviewing photos and offering additional tips and suggestions on exposure, composition, processing, etc. On Sunday evening, we’ll conclude this grand experiment with another class Zoom meeting for a group slideshow and photo critique.
