Late last month I had a chance to spend several days with another group of wonderful folks as part of my Point Reyes: Intimate Details and Personal Visions photo workshop. Following is a collection of images shot by the participants, and I hope you’ll take a moment to enjoy these pictures, and if you feel like leaving a comment for the participants, I’m sure they’d love hearing from you.

The weather on this weekend was unbelievably nice; some might say too nice. Detail shots are often best photographed under soft light like on a cloudy day. This time it was clear and sunny blue skies for the entire duration of the class. In many cases, with Point Reyes sticking nearly 10 miles out into the Pacific Ocean and known for its changeable weather, it’s more common that the first sunlight we see is right as the workshop concludes. This time, the first wisps of clouds and fog rolled in just as the class concluded.
